Step 2

Enter your monthly spending in each main category. You don’t have to use all the categories provided and you can rename sub categories to better fit your situation using the edit tool (blue circle).

Use the “Add Sub Category” button (purple oval) at the bottom to add a new spending field.

Once you’ve entered all your expenses, click the “View Final Budget” button to view your budget summary worksheet. Using the “Export to Excel” button, export your budget to Excel and save the document using ‘Save As” and give it a new name. The document contains an image and a web link, which may trigger a Microsoft security warning when you open it.
