$8K Available for Financial Education Events

The Oklahoma Jump$tart Coalition, an affiliate of the National Jump$tart Coalition for Personal Financial Literacy, is providing grant funding for organizations to host a Jump$tart Your Money event promoting financial literacy. Events will preferably be held during Jump$tart Your Money Week: April 19-25, 2015.

Oklahoma K-12 schools, higher education institutions and nonprofit organizations are eligible to apply for funding. Grants will be awarded for the cost of the event, or up to $1,000, whichever is less.

Interested applicants can visit OklahomaJumpstart.org to learn more and to download the application packet. Completed applications should be submitted at least four weeks in advance of the event to Brent Rempe, Jump$tart Treasurer, at brentr@weokie.org or by fax at 405.787.6167.
