Life After AmeriCorps

Americorps

When your OKMM-EAP service term is completed, you can remain connected to the AmeriCorps national service network. Extensive materials and services for AmeriCorps alumni are available on the network website, www.americorps.org.

  • access to eCommunity, which allows alumni to interact through message boards, chat rooms, and events.
  • information about additional service projects, for members who have served only one term and would like to serve another.
  • opportunities for alumni to share their AmeriCorps experiences with potential members.
  • career networking resources.

Free membership in the alumni organization, the National AmeriCorps Association, is also available to members who have completed a term of service. Through the alumni association, you can:

  • access venues for political activism on behalf of AmeriCorps.
  • connect with other alumni through local chapters, the quarterly newsletter, a weekly listserv, and employment services.
